About The Author

Meet James Emery Lovitt Jr.

Author & Illustrator of the children's holiday mash-up book, 'When Halloween Took Over Christmas'. James Emery Lovitt Jr., was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. At 22 years old, he was in a fatal car accident, due to a drunk driver. Leaving him badly injured, fully blind in one eye, and struggling to see out of his other eye.​

Yet, he never stops fighting each day, because he's determined to complete his "Bucket List"... that list includes;  learning how to fly, being a great father & husband, and PUBLISHING A BOOK on his own!

His dream is to be able to see his book turn into a New York Times' #1 Best Seller, before his vision takes a toll.
